Ariel Aparicio
All I Wanted

The problem with many modern singer/songwriters is that they sound too much like their influential predecessors. Such is the case with Ariel Aparicio. Most of the songs on All I Wanted meander, looking for a center that they never find. The two standout tracks are "Dreamer", a sweet guitar-and-piano waltz ballad and "Always the Bridesmaids" , as close to rocking Aparicio gets. Aparicio is not without talent and he is capable of writing hook-driven pop-rock.
